Nice finds indeed. As a Russofile (make that Sovietfile) I collect vintage items from the USSR but admittedly I don't have much aside from a few small stamp collections from 1970s USSR thanks to my mother who traveled there for competition. The iconic propaganda posters throughout all Soviet era's are really fascinating- the mixes of color coupled with the broad yet vague motifs makes for some fun art!
nice.
ReplyDeletesometimes simple is best.
that song suits my mood.
These are cool. My husband would really dig them.
ReplyDeleteAhh, now I've got that song stuck in my head! And I didn't even listen to it... it got stuck in there right when I read your post title.
ReplyDeleteIn my defense, I figured there were many worse songs that I could get stuck in your heads. Off to listen to the Moon and Antarctica now.

ReplyDeleteSorry! I almost named my latest post Halloween Head after the Ryan Adams song, so now that's stuck in my brain...
